Reduce the Risk of EEE and Mosquito-Borne Illnesses
In response
to a confirmed case of eastern equine encephalitis (EEE) in New York State, we
are taking proactive measures to protect New Yorkers. Keep the following
precautions in mind to limit exposure when heading outdoors:
Use insect repellent containing
DEET
Wear long sleeves and tuck
shirts and socks into pants
Limit your outdoor exposure
during dawn and dusk
Remove still water around your
home
