Pet Policy

A maximum of two pets are allowed in campsites and day use areas unless prohibited by sign or directive. Pets are to be supervised at all times and either be crated or on a leash not more than 6-feet in length. Proof of rabies inoculation shall be produced if requested by staff. Pets are not permitted in playgrounds, buildings, golf courses, boardwalks, pools and spray-grounds or guarded beaches (this does not apply to service animals).

Macomb Reservation State Park lies just outside the Adirondack Park along the Salmon River's course toward Lake Champlain. Surrounded by state land, the park has a wilderness atmosphere. Visitors can use non-motorized boats and fish in Davis pond or the Salmon River. The park has playing fields, a picnic area, a self-guided nature trail, a hiking trail, electric and non-electric wooded campsites. Winter activities include ice skating, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling.

Pavilion Information
Macomb Reservation has two pavilions. The day use price is $50 and can accommodate 34 to 47 people. Check availability at ReserveAmerica.com.

Join us for the National Audubon Society's 125th Christmas Bird Count! We'll be counting birds at both Point Au Roche and Macomb Reservation State Parks from 7:30am-4pm. Contact us to volunteer to count at either location for any length of time you'd like! All ages and experience levels are welcome.
