The State Historic Preservation Office is currently organized into five units: the National Register Unit, the Survey
and Evaluation Unit, the Technical Assistance and Compliance Unit, the Archaeology Unit and the Outreach Unit (which
includes the Certified Local Government Program, Planning, and our two regional grants representatives). Within most
units, each staff person is assigned a specific territory defined by multiple counties. Although regional boundaries
differ among units, (as illustrated by the maps on this page) staff members work together regularly in interdisciplinary
teams.

able to respond to your inquiry.
