Allegany State Park is a mixed hemlock/hardwood forest, rolling hills, meadows, ponds, and lakes attract devoted outdoor enthusiasts year round. It is New York’s largest park with over 65,000 acres of un-glaciated landscape. Offering 424 campsites and 375 cabins, Allegany is a campers’ paradise. The winterized vacation rental cottages and cabins make camping fun in every season. The hiking trails, three lakes, amazing rock formations, guided nature tours, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, fishing and hunting makes the Allegany Region a great place for any family vacation.

Located in the center of the Western New York wine district, Lake Erie State Park is one of the more scenic camping parks in the region, with 90 campsites and 10 cabins, the park overlooks the magnificent Lake Erie waters.
