Hours of Operation

Park hours and facility operations are subject to change. Patrons are encouraged to contact the park directly to confirm operating hours before traveling.

• Boat Fishing Sites:
  4/1 - 9/30 (Tues - Sun): 6 am - 4:30 pm.
  No fee for boat with fishing session (in addition to the $20 fishing fee.)
  Boat only with fishing use. No boats Feb. and March due to inclement weather.
• Closed Monday and Tuesday. Open Wednesday - Sunday 8am-4:30pm.
• Cross Country Skiing: Available in the winter season when conditions permit.
• Environmental Programs closed Mondays year-round.
  Tiny Tots program held every other Tuesday.
  10/1 - 3/31 - Environmental program closed Mondays & Tuesdays.
• Fly Fishing season: 2/1 - 10/15.
  Trout Fishing Permits required in addition to valid NYS freshwater fishing license.
  April - Sept. (Tues. - Sun.) 7 - 11 am, 12 pm - 4 pm, 5 pm - sunset.
  Oct. 1 - 15 (Wed. - Sun.) 8 am - 12 pm, 12 pm - 4 pm.
• Fly Fishing: Catch & Release Program:
  2/1 - 3/31: Wed - Sun, 7 am - 4 pm.
  Minimum group per session - 20. Sessions: Catch & release ONLY, no kill, no possession.
• Fly Fishing: Group Outing Program:
  2/1 - 3/31: Mon & Tues.
  4/1 - 10/15: Mondays only. 6 am - 4:30 pm.
  10/1 - 10/15: Mon. & Tues. 7 am - 4 pm.
  10/16 - 12/31. Upon request.
  
  Group outing request forms available at park office or upon request. Minimum group size-20. Valid NYS Fishing License required. Must provide fly fishing equipment as specified.
• Horseback Riding: Available all year.
  7 am - 4:30 pm.
• Parking: Available year round. Preserve open to public sunrise to sunset.
