Hours of Operation
Park hours and facility operations are subject to change. Patrons are encouraged to contact the park directly to confirm operating hours before traveling.
Day use/Picnicking/Nature: Available year round. 25 miles of designated trails.
Open all year, 8am-dusk.
2013 Swimming Season:
5/25 - 6/23, Open 10am-6pm. Closed Wednesday and Thursday;
6/24 – 9/2, swimming open daily.
Boat Rentals:
May 25 - June 30, weekends only, 10am-5pm;
July 1 - Labor Day, Friday-Monday 10am-5pm, closed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Large and small tents available for rental as well as 2 large shelters – call office to reserve.
The Beach Nature Center is open summer long from 12 and 2pm (on days swimming beach is open) with park naturalists and summer interns on hand to teach about the plants and animals living in the park through interactive exhibits and live specimens.
Deer and small game hunting are allowed in season.
Ticket Booth:
May 4-May 19, weekends only;
Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day;
September 7-Columbus Day, weekends only.
Trails for mountain biking, hiking, and horseback riding. No ATV use allowed.
Winter Use (weather permitting): Ice Skating/Ice Fishing/XC Skiing/Snowshoeing/Snowmobiling: Snowshoe rental available at Park Office during office hours 8am – 4:30pm.
