Fees and Rates

Most New York State Parks charge a vehicle use fee to enter the facility. Fees vary by location and season. A list of entry fees and other park use fees is available below. For fees not listed or to verify information, please contact the park directly.

Your key to all season enjoyment of state parks is our season's pass. For $65, the Empire Passport provides you unlimited day use vehicle entry into most of our parks. Apply on-line or call your favorite park for more information.

Boat Rental:

Rowboat - $5 per hour (up to 3 hours); $20 per day.

Canoe/Kayak - $8 per hour; $25 deposit plus form of ID required.

$25 deposit, plus form of ID required.

You must be 18 or older to rent a boat. The lessee must be on board the boat and is responsible for all persons in the boat. He/she is responsible for ensuring that all occupants understand and follow the boat rental rules.

Since we only have single kayaks, you must be 18 or older to rent/use a kayak.

Interpretive Programs: $2 per person
$5 per family

Large Tent (20' x 20'): $75 daily

Picnic Shelters: $100 per Shelter/Daily

Snowshoe Rental:

$10 per day
$5 for 4 hours or less

Tent/Amphitheater (20' x 20'): $50 daily

Vehicle Entrance Fee:

May 4 – May 19, weekends only, $6 per car;
May 25th – June 24th - $8 per car when swimming is open and $6 per car when swimming is closed;
June 25th through Labor Day - $8 daily;
Sept. 7th through Columbus Day, weekends only - $6 per car
