  April 25 - May 22: 7:00am-8:00pm
  May 23 -July 31: 7:00am-8:30pm
  August 1 - August : 7:00am- 8:00pm
  August 22 - September 11: 7:00am-7:30pm
  September 12 - October 2: 7:00am-7:00pm
  October 3 - October 16: 7:00am-6:30pm
  October 17 - November 2: 7:00am-6:00pm
  November 3 - December 31: 7:00am-5:00pm
  
  *These are normal operational hours and can change in accordance with the weather.

• Day use activities available year-round include:
  Picnicking, walking, jogging, bike riding, roller skating, in-line skating, dog walking, bird watching, train watching, river traffic observation, self-guided tours (posted factoids), and Talkway-Over-Walkway (Cell phone tours).
• Park is open year-round conditions permitting.
  The bridge is cleared at sunset.

• Walkway openings and closings as of August 22:
  
  WEST SIDE (Highland):
  Thursday: Opening at 7:00am; only the west side of the Walkway will be open on Thursday
  Friday: Opening at 7:00am; east side may be closed part or all of the daySaturday: Opening at 7:00am; work complete

  EAST SIDE (Poughkeepsie):
  Thursday: Closed; west side open at 7:00am; only the west side of the Walkway will be open on Thursday
  Friday: May be closed or open late depending on progress made on Thursday night; west side open all day
  Saturday: Opening at 7:00am; work complete
