Fees and Rates

Most New York State Parks charge a vehicle use fee to enter the facility. Fees vary by location and season. A list of entry fees and other park use fees is available below. For fees not listed or to verify information, please contact the park directly.

Your key to all season enjoyment of state parks is our season's pass. For $65, the Empire Passport provides you unlimited day use vehicle entry into most of our parks. Apply on-line or call your favorite park for more information.

Information: Things to know:
Sorry no half day trail passes or equipment rentals. For best gear selections on busy weekends, we recommend arriving early in the morning. A signed rental equipment agreement and security deposit (credit card, driver’s license, passport or cash) is required. All equipment rentals must be used at FWP and returned daily by 4:15 pm or a late charge can be applied. Renters are responsible for equipment lost, stolen or damaged beyond normal wear and tear. For payment, we accept credit cards or cash. We do not accept personal checks.
Trail Pass: Adult - $9.00
Senior (62 and older) - $8.00
Junior (17 and younger)- $6.00
Sledding Pass: Adult, Senior, Junior: $3.00
Touring Skis, Boots & Poles: Adult - $16.00
Junior - $14.00
Skate Skis Boots & Poles: Adult - $18.00
Junior - $16.00
Snowshoes: Adult - $15.00
Junior- $14.00
Available Hourly- $7.00
Sledding Inner Tubes : Adult, Senior, Junior - Hourly $4
Baby "Pulk" Sled: Day - $20.00
Hourly - $7.00
