While You're Here
Wear bright colors for the Grey Petaltail Dragonfly! They often land on visitors' arms & caps.

Stony Brook State Park's terrain comprises hilly woodlands, a deep gorge with rugged cliffs overlooking three waterfalls and fascinating rock formations. 119 tent and trailer campsites are scattered in the woodlands above the gorge in the upper or south end of the park. Visitors can hike rim, gorge or nature trails, play tennis on park courts, or picnic. In winter, three miles of cross-country trails are available for skiers. Some winter hiking is allowed, but not on the gorge trails.

**New ** - Stony Brook now offers new "rustic" cabins. These cabins are the perfect in-between for campers who like tents and cabins. Offering protection from the elements, they sleep four, but have no electricity or water. Only $41.25 per night and no minimum stay required. Reservation and out-of-state resident fees also apply.**
