Hours of Operation

Park hours and facility operations are subject to change. Patrons are encouraged to contact the park directly to confirm operating hours before traveling.

  • Day use area and trails are open year-round
  • 2014 Beach/Swimming Season: 6/21 - 9/1, daily. 11am-7pm*

    *Visitors, please note: As of August 20, swimming at Verona Beach is temporarily closed. Please contact the park office for a status update before your visit.

    As part of a park improvement project, the bathhouse and attached parking lot are currently under construction. The bathhouse will be closed at the beginning of summer and parking will be limited. The beach will be open in small sections for weekends only starting with Memorial Day weekend. Beginning June 21st, the beach will then be open daily for the season.

    UPDATE (8/1/14):  The bathhouse is nearly complete and is OPEN for use as is the parking lot. Nearby picnic shelters will be under construction for the remainder of the season.

  • Boating:  Please note that direct access to a lake is available for launching personal non-motorized boats. Trailers are not permitted.
  • 2014 Camping Season:  5/9 - 10/13/2014
    45 Campsites, maximum 6 people per site.

  • Park Office Hours:
    5/9 - 9/1/14, Monday thru Sunday, 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Hunting:  Eastern portion of the park only, in season.
  • Shelter Rentals:
    Available for reservation mid-May to Columbus Day, 9 a.m. to sunset. Call the park to reserve.
