Just as New York State has been blessed with an abundance of unique and inspiring natural assets, we are also fortunate that many generous New Yorkers have stepped forward to protect and preserve those assets in some of the finest state parks and open spaces in the nation.

The Natural Heritage Trust (NHT) is the ideal vehicle for individuals to contribute so the State's efforts to enhance parks, historic preservation and protect the state's wealth of land and water resources. For 40 years, the NHT has received and managed gifts, grants and contributions to further public programs in support of these activities.

The Natural Heritage Trust (NHT) is a 501c-3 public benefit corporation established to advance numerous parks, conservation, recreation, historic preservation and waterfront revitalization goals.

Make a difference and donate to state parks and historic sites through the NHT.
