Ellis Adler, aka The Funny Man
Saturday, July 9, 2016 10:00 AM
Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve
(631) 423-1770

The laughter is non-stop while children watch him perform. Amazingly, with all the laughter, the show has great educational value. The children watch step-by-step as Ellis goes through the process of becoming a clown. They watch him warming up "in laughter "and then help him with the sequence of putting on his makeup and clown suit. Lastly, they go to "clown school," learning basic concepts of clowning: pretending, making funny movements, storytelling, and most importantly, making others laugh! A sprinkling of magic is part of the act with a live rabbit who does tricks and who all the children get to pet at the end of the show. There is so much laughter and fun - truly a magical experience. Bring your own seating, blankets or chairs.
