Come out for our new knee high naturalist class! This class is intended for children ages 2-5 and their parents/guardians. We will discover different themes of nature with a short story and hands on experiences. Registration is necessary with 24 hours advanced notice, please call 793-0511.

Spring is here, come learn kayaking with us! This wonderful spring time paddle is a great way to learn a new fun way to spend time outside. The Park Naturalist will lead this beginner's paddle around the lake pointing out signs of spring and other wonderful sights that are more enjoyable from an up-close perspective given by a kayak. Reservations are required with 24 hours advanced notice, please call 793-0511.

Programs are weather permitting and are subject to change. Please call the park office to confirm event date, time and location. Participants should be prepared to spend time outside and are encouraged to wear adequate clothing and footwear. There is a program fee of $2 adults and children and $1 for seniors.

Turtle Adventure

Learn about turtles in the Nature Center, and then take a short hike to see some turtle nesting areas. Registration is necessary with 24 hours advanced notice, please call 793-0511.
