About 5 miles round trip this steep climb will prove to be a good work out. We will enjoy a comfortable pace as we climb to the top and as we walk along we will see some great views overlooking the Hudson River. Please bring a lunch and water to enjoy on the trail. Reservations are required with 24 hours advanced notice, 518-793-0511.

Moreau Lake State Park will holding its 3rd season of FREE Learn to Swim Lessons. This program is made possible through a partnership between the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, the American Red Cross, National Swimming Pool Foundation and the Northeast Spa and Pool Association.

Monday – Thursday. July 11th -21st
10:15a.m. – 11:00a.m. OR 5:00p.m. – 5:45p.m.

Children 6 months - 3 years. (A guardian must be in the water with all children in this lesson.)

Children 3 years – 5 years (guardians will not be in the water, children must be comfortable being in the water with the teachers, guardian must be on beach for entire lesson)

Children 6 years – 9 years (must be comfortable with water without PFD, and interested in learning strokes and techniques. Guardian must be on beach for entire lesson)

Registration: Must be in person to sign all children up. (At Moreau Lake State Park Office) Saturday June 4th, 2016 at 1:30pm – 3:30pm Spaces are limited.
