The Friends of Moreau Lake State Park welcome you to celebrate the third annual I Love My Park Day at Moreau Lake State Park!

Project 1: Volunteers will be constructing a bird blind at Mud Pond for the viewing of waterfowl in their natural environment. This project is limited to participants age 18 and older. Please meet at the Moreau Lake Nature Center. *For this project, the park is looking for participants with good carpentry skills (though the wood will be pre-cut) who have experience with hammers and painting. Please bring work gloves, hammers and paint brushes.

Project 2: Volunteers will be planting native flowers and plants around the nature center and the beach bathhouse. Please meet outside the Moreau Lake Nature Center and bring small garden shovels, and gardening gloves.

Project 3: Volunteers will clean up the park by hiking around the lakeshore and picking up garbage. For this activity, participants of all ages are welcome, and it is suggested to wear garden gloves.

Project 4: Involves trail clean up of 20+ miles of trails. This is open to people of all ages and volunteers should please bring gloves, and garbage bags.

At 12 PM there will be a barbeque for all the volunteers provided by the Friends.
